BC Psychology

About me

I’m passionate about my work as a psychologist and value authenticity in the therapy space. I initially focus on understanding the unique needs and goals of each client and setting a collaborative plan to reach them.
There is no model of therapy or specific technique that I employ in the clinic that I haven’t first experienced myself. I believe it’s necessary for psychologists to experience the therapy models we use in order to understand and have confidence in what we deliver.
I rarely focus on emotional regulation techniques, including breathing exercise etc. Depending on the presentation, my focus is generally on core healing rather than symptom management. Aside from the evidence-based models and interventions I use in therapy, I also draw from my own diverse life experience, which helps me relate to all clients in a non-judgemental and compassionate way.
Aside from my passion for therapy, in my spare time I enjoy playing and writing music, health, wellness, and martial arts. And one day I plan on getting good at surfing…
